Don't you think I tried all of those third party emails? Of course I do and it's not good. It forces me into a browser that's where it is checking for updating emails. All I wanted is INSTANT or PUSH email notifications like Blackberry and sidekick do have it and that's because it has its own first party email. However, Iphone don't, well, it has which called MobileMe ($99 a year and I wont pay for this shit) Now I haven't checked a Google Mobile App and will do it tonight.

iPod touch + blackberry (Sprint) are cheaper than iPhone for plan. It's FACT.

That's all I spend $40 per month for unlimited data, text, and 5GB per month for modem. Can AT&T beat that?

Ask to Sam

True, but I don't like Sprint...never had. I had bad service with them and the coverage isn't good in my area. And I am not into Blackberry. I am tech-savy remember?

I understand about coverage. I am very lucky that I live in good coverage. I don't know nothing about PR coverage. Almost 2 years ago, ATT don't have 3G in my coverage and cost $50 per month for iPhone 3g? That's rip off to me and I picked Sprint over ATT since Sprint already have 3G coverage.

I still use BB as tether‎ing a lot for business travel. I can't live without it.

reception is bit weak from BB into laptop . U300 3G/4G USB modem is best reception but data plan rate is expensive about $80/mo.

iPhone, iPod and other phones can do that in 3G, why need tethering when you can do it at home with your ISP or better yet a air card from Sprint or some other carrier.

I mean wifi hotspot, so no need for tethering. I can understand about travel business. Oh well... It's your money.

BB with tethering for only $40 per month. It's still cheaper than iPhone 3G S ATT plan.

Try country road or farm area. No way to find hotspot in anywhere.

Ok you have proven your point. I admit it. To me money is not a issue.

I can get TAP for $40 a month without Text plan.

Actually, there is an iPhone app out there to address this! It’s called Textfree, from Pinger.

Textfree Unlimited provides unlimited texting. You can get it through this link on your iPhone:

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=2&url=http%3A%2F%2Fi tunes.apple.com%2FWebObjects%2FMZStore.woa%2Fwa%2F viewSoftware%3Fid%3D305925151%26mt%3D8&ei=tQI_Suai O4HCtwey1KEU&usg=AFQjCNETib8g8-GcJkqo4uaud5K31BBT7g&sig2=esB4x65JjfUmyoZNBAVlXg

There is also a free version of the app (Textfree Lite):

The only thing left lacking is tethering and MMS.

The TAP plan for iPhone 3G $50.00 per month* and includes:

•Unlimited SMS messages
•Unlimited data usage (email and web)
•$.40 per minute pay-per-use voice
•Visual Voicemail

Did you ask AT&T to remove out SMS messages and reduce price plan? How?

Let you know that both features will release in summer and for mms, it required text plan which Is why I selected $50 tap plan. I'm heavy using text messages as well as email messages. For tethering, it's free as well as it's part of $50 tap plan.
