The "free" offer seems to only apply if you get the voice AND internet plan. Read the bottom very carefully... you'll see it.

As for me waiting a bit longer, I'm not sure if it's really worth spending 20 bucks a month for unlimited internet. Most internet service providers offer unlimited internet services for a lot less. Why can't they do the same for wireless? In fact, they're offering less... why charge more? Regular internet service providers offer parental control, multiple e-mail accounts, instant messaging, internet, downloads, uploads, plug-ins, etc. Wireless devices offer one e-mail account, instant messaging, internet, that's pretty much it. Why am I paying a lot more for half the service? I'd say that $15 is more reasonable.

I'm also not exactly crazy for wireless devices that offer too much. I don't care much for AIM or internet. I'm more interested in just e-mails only. If someone wants to page me, I'll read the message. I'm not gonna stand there and chat with someone all day long from a tiny little device. That's kinda rude for people around me. Heh!

VamPyroX, same thing with me. I dont want to be focus on sidekick(chat on and on forth) more important over my finace, family or something 24/7. my family and finacee are are more important to my life than sidekick.. just simply common sense and good judgment..

You can get the data plan for $29.99 per month, but the rebates won't apply, so you still have to pay part for Sidekick II. This deal reeks of being tailored towards hearing people.

really free... just rebates and it's for
only on their terms to require
both voice and data plans together...

I'd prefer the other way around for
an example I'd rather pay $200 flat
one time fee for the sidekick without
any monthly payment... I do NOT
like any monthly payment and
I do NOT like "contract" neither. Sigh.

Advers, ATTENTION!!! you expect that could get sidekick and service for free.. I really wish that. for example, they adveriste about hosue for free, i saw sign on the mortgage business building. I run into mortgage building, people tell me , please get apply for house and I read careful the mortgage application about free and policy.. it tell me that yes get free house but not responsible payment for unilities (waters, elecrtic, taxes etc on and on lists) before sign the mortgage applications..


or

another instance, you go to computer store, saw the techology mouse on shelf as display as such MS WIRELESS ITELL. MOUSE EXPRESS for free. you rush to grab it for free and you bring it along with you, arrive home. you open it and take it out of box, you realize that battery is not included mice, you have to buy batties for MS WIRELESS ITELL. MOUSE EXPRESS for rest. because you expect Lithium-ion Battery inside within MS WIRELESS ITELL. MOUSE EXPRESS. Plus you did not pay attetion what box's back side as say no include battery in box. get my point?
