Apple could be looking to buttress its iPhone range considerably over the next year by adding larger 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch models and a cheaper, $99 handset with a wider range of colors, according to sources from Reuters.

I like 4.7-inch display but I dislike more taller. I will wait to see next iPhone next year.
 
I hope it s more battery life like iPad Mini and add column on wider display as 5 column.
 
I remember when cellphones kept getting smaller. Now they have to get big again because they're mini-computers.

Yes, I remember that, too. It used to be cool status to have the smallest phone. Now, they're making them big again. It would seem that they would be less easy to carry around if they make them bigger.
 
Next year? Oh no! I am stuck with 4S, and I do not want to upgrade to iPhone 5 due to larger screen (won't fit my pocket). I hope they release by this fall.

iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 are almost exactly same wide for your pocket. iPhone 5 just got little more thinner and more height. That's it. You must be short.

I think 4S size is perfect. It would be nice if they design a new slimmer and better design with size of 4S. You little troll. :roll:

iPhone 5 is perfect fit in my pocket. iPhone 4s and 5 don't make so much different for feel from the pocket. What troll? :roll:
 
Authentic, have you ever tried fitting the iPhone 5 in your pocket, at all?

The old reason was to downsize inner components. Now that we have a solid breakthrough, it's no longer an issue.

Screen estate is a popular demand for some markets these days. Reduces the need to scroll when the resolution and screen sizes are larger.

The smaller size phones were more convenient to carry. Some people can't conveniently carry the larger phones. Hubby uses his mostly at work for voice calls and text. He doesn't need a big screen but he needs something that is heat, dirt, sweat and impact resistant, and comfortable to wear on his belt.

I can understand that perspective. I wonder if apple will eventually break down and make more iPhone variations.
 
Next gen. iPhone may use OLED screens, hopefully. OLED required no backlight and consumes much less battery power than previous iPhones. Can be thinness and long battery life.

I want 4.7" iPhone.. I can read larger subtitle on movies and TV, use wide keyboard to type faster, and require longer battery life than previous iPhone.

Some people can't fit the larger phones in pockets but I can use holster case with belt clip.
 
My phone has a 4.5" LCD screen but fits in my pocket just fine. 5" might be a little too big to fit comfortably.

Hard to believe because you are first person as guy who complained about iPhone 5 won't fit in the pocket. Most women complained about that already. Are you sure you wear men's pant? :shock:
