tam tactile acoustic monitor

hi

has anyone tried the tam unit from the UK
just wondered how you got on with it and any reviews before i take the plunge?

Honestly - seems like a gimmick and waste of money to me. The only people who might benefit are those who are deaf/blind, however there are Alertmaster pagers which are better.

Not to mention who wants to wear a box on their arm all day and have constant vibrations to deal with (distracting).

At home signalling systems provide all the visal feeback we need - for phones,doors, alarm clocks, smoke detectors, babies/general sounds etc.

I just don't see how this is helpful at all.
