Around 180 people who are deaf or blind and 400 support providers are in Northern Kentucky for the American Association of the deaf-blind 2011 National Symposium.

The latest technology to help the deaf-blind will be demonstrated.

There were also updates on legislation geared to assist the deaf blind in the workplace.

There were also workshops on Employment and Recreation and Leisure.

The symposium is planning a walk-a-thon on Thursday and a trip to Kings Island on Friday.
