Woman Stabbed Deaf Boyfriend With Scissors
Deputies: Woman Stabbed Deaf Boyfriend With Scissors - West Palm Beach News Story - WPBF West Palm Beach
A woman was arrested after she bit and stabbed her deaf boyfriend with a pair of scissors, St. Lucie County sheriff's deputies said. Deputies were called to a domestic dispute at a home on U.S. Highway 1 at about 11 p.m. Monday. When deputies arrived, they found Wilson Velez bleeding from the forearm. According to the arrest affidavit, Velez was arguing with Maria Morales, his live-in girlfriend of eight months, when she grabbed a pair of scissors and began stabbing him. Velez told deputies he wasn't getting along with her and had asked her to move back to Boston. They were arguing about her moving out when she allegedly attacked him. Deputies said Morales also hit Velez several times and bit him. Morales was arrested on an aggravated battery charge and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail. |
