Deaf Pianist wins young soloist award to perform at Kennedy Centre

Wow nice. I play the piano so badly hearing leave the room.

WOW! Incredible!...I've always wanted to play the Organ!...Or the saxophone....

amazing

Wow, amazing, to think how one can conquer, when I was younger that was my thing, but I never kept it up, wow, an amazing person !!

Think the point is to be single-mindedly determined to do whatever we aspire to do best, even if we are faced with challenges!

It helps to have talents as well otherwise your hard work won't pay off as much as you'd like. I know one deaf woman who's from an all deaf family who can play the piano better than I can. I come from a musical family and play the piano badly. Not fair! j/k

Yes that is so true, and I believe having a passion for something helps for us to work harder and be more determine to see it through. Ohh, no not fair, smile !

Jiro played the piano on a video for us one time.

It actually is a good choice for deaf since if only requires accurate keystrokes, just like typing.

I might take that up as old age hobby. :hmm: (electronic amplified maybe)
