NSW Deaf Rugby League
New South Wales Deaf Rugby League is calling for nominations for the position of Head Coach for the New South Wales Deaf Rugby League side to travel to Queensland in June 2008. This highly regarded role encompasses the promotion and development of Rugby League for the Deaf in New South Wales. It is desirable that the successful applicant possesses a reasonable degree of the following criteria for selection:
* Have a current Level 2 Coaching Certificate; or higher
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and basic understanding of relating to deaf players and team management is essential.
* Knowledge of Auslan but not necessary
* Have advance knowledge of Coaching principles and is able to assist with implementation of development program in conjunction with the Board of the NSWDRL Inc.
* Intermediate Computer skills.
* Willing to travel to Sydney (HomebushBay) on bi-weekly basis for training on weekends from March-May 2008.
Please note this is a voluntary position with remuneration to the successful applicant for fuel expenses.
