Census Bureau's Population Counts of 'hearing impairments' types by States

The Best Current Estimate Of The Total U.S. Deaf Population « Fookem and Bug Thats got the estimated population figures for people with 2 types of 'hearing impairments' by the Census Bureau. My take is that the total 'hearing impairment' population has been cut almost 50% in the past 8 years. Richard |

Still that model paints the hearing impaired community at 12-13 million people, a far cry from what the big grants sucking deaf and disability organizations had been spewing out all these years.
