Deaf ministry revival set in Melville

The Rev. Ernie Murillo, a deaf minister from Riverside, Calif., is scheduled to host a deaf ministry revival at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11 at First Pentecostal Church in Melville.

Murillo was invited by friends Luther and Gail Green of DeRidder. The couple have driven to the Melville church for the past three months to teach sign language. Their Level 1 course in American Sign Language ends Friday, Feb. 9, when 10 students will receive certificates for completing the course.
