The First Lady of Ukraine visits Ukrainian Deaf Association

Kateryna Yushchenko, Head of the Ukraine 3000 Supervisory Council, visited the Cultural Center of the Ukrainian Deaf Association.

She visited its museum and then enjoyed a performance at the Rainbow Mime Theatre, which has fourteen plays in its repertoire.

Together with her children and pupils of Kyiv’s elementary schools, the President’s wife watched the play “The Little Match Girl.” She praised the UDA staff for what they do and then used sign language to thank the company for their brilliant performance.

One of the priorities of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation is to help deaf people adapt to normal social life.
