I a not sure why the bail was so low , this happen in Alabama and maybe people are poor so they set the bails low??? Did you read the comment in the first link ? The person wrote someone was death/hoh. I bet that person had hard time hearing being dead. LOL!

This is scary for the victims. The victim was a child. The guy got out of jail and went right back to the scene of the crime. The conditions of bond release meant nothing to him.

(This is in Deaf news because the perp is deaf.)

Yes, I know him very well because he was student at Alabama School for the Deaf and graduated in 2005. He was troubled student and was suspended frequently. I'm extremely shocked that he turned into criminal - child rapist. I have no sympathy for child rapists and I feel that death penalty should appropriate for child rapists.

For AD members, if you want know about him, so please ask me via PM and I will share my experience during student, so it was bad experience and bad reputation.

I can't believe that judge let him on bonds three times and it sounds like court in South Alabama should be horrible because state of Alabama take child sexual abuse very seriously and it is Class A Felony - life or 10-99 years, with parole or without parole. If this prep receives lenient punishment so state prosecutor will appeal to higher court.

I feel that judge may take him too lightly because he's deaf and I noticed that deaf people usually receive lesser punishment or get away, especially traffic citation and misdemeanor charge, but for felony charge, usually lesser punishment like shorter jail time, probation, home arrest based on plea bargain, but I don't think that murderers and rapists get lesser punishment because it is very serious crime.

The court is very depending on local, some locals are too lenient, some locals are too strict.

Maybe the court system has just given up on this guy? Maybe the DA knows they won't make any money by prosecuting him because he and his family seem very poor, so it isn't "profitable" to keep him in jail, when they could be out there baiting/entrapping rich people into breaking the law?

Sounds corrupt to me. This guy needs to be UNDER the jail. Sheesh!!! a 12 year old!!!

I don't think being deaf or hoh is a good reason to give a person a lesser punishment . Maybe the court is afraid a deaf person will bullied more in jail ??

Yes, I agree with you, this guy needs to stay in jail until trial.

Yes, it could possible, also may afraid of communication barriers because interpreters are extremely shortage in state of Alabama.

I know Sammy can speak some of oral language - he is more HoH.

I personally support life in prison or WORSE for that kind of crime to anyone.... That's absolutely horrible!
