Theatre Arts for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People of Color

Leadership Training in Theatre Arts for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People of Color (3 credits)
The Gerald “Bummy” Burstein Leadership Institute is offering an intensive one-week leadership training in Theater Arts for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People of Color. Focus is on three distinct areas: (1) History of deaf theatre and theater arts of color, (2) actors movements, and (3) play production. The program is designed specifically for deaf people of color, who are interested in leisure and/or professional participation in deaf theaters.

Tuition Fee: $690 plus $30 registration fee; financial assistance is available. Contact simon@gallaudet.edu.
Dates: June 25 - 29, 2012
Days: Monday – Friday
Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm daily
Facilitator: Fred Beam
