Yeah, and if you read the article, you can see the definition isn't right so who knows how much longer this is gonna take........

They will need to cuz in its current form it is audistic and put there by the committee that's responsible for getting new words in their dictionary....

It has been already revised.

Original definition;

Discrimination or prejudice against people based on the fact that their ability to hear is impaired or absent.

Revised definition;

1. The belief that people with hearing are superior to those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
2. Discrimination or prejudice against people who are deaf or hard of hearing.


American Heritage Dictionary Entry: audism
