Dose anyone know how to start a band i have always song all my life ,would love to start a band ..and suggestions .. of how to start one ...i also love the clash...a band from the 70s...i looked on cregslist and nothing im not sure if i should,just put flyers up ...in the city or what..my hearing loss is progressive so my speech is pretty much clear..my voice is great..please help if you can...oh one song i hate is straight to hell..by the clash..

Well, I am not an expert on starting a band.

But you live in New York, so what about advertising your need through some of the music schools there?

Well, Botti....maybe a bunch of us oldie members should start a rock 'n roll band.....

But anyhow...guess the OP could start singing at Karote places where she would get "noticed"...or even advertise, flyers around her neighborhood and places where bands do play....maybe even audition for "American Idol"??
