What song are you listening to?

Hello!

What song are you listening to today?

I'm listening to song from computer today called "Must Get Out" by Maroon 5.

You can post lyric here, If you want to.

"Must Get Out"

I've been the needle and the thread
Weaving figure eights and circles round your head
I try to laugh but cry instead
Patiently wait to hear the words you've never said

Fumbling through your dresser drawer forgot what I was looking for
Try to guide me in the right direction
Making use of all this time
Keeping everything inside
Close my eyes and listen to you cry

I'm lifting you up
I'm letting you down
I'm dancing till dawn
I'm fooling around
I'm not giving up
I'm making your love
This city made us crazy and we must get out

This is not goodbye she said
It is just time for me to rest my head
She does not walk she runs instead
Down these jagged streets and into my bed

Fumbling through your dresser drawer forgot what I was looking for
Try to guide me in the right direction
Making use of all this time
Keeping everything inside
Close my eyes and listen to you cry

I'm lifting you up
I'm letting you down
I'm dancing till dawn
I'm fooling around
I'm not giving up
I'm making your love
This city made us crazy and we must get out

There's only so much I can do for you
After all of the things you put me through

I'm lifting you up
I'm letting you down
I'm dancing till dawn
I'm fooling around
I'm not giving up
I'm making your love
This city made us crazy and we must get out

I'm lifting you up
I'm letting you down
I'm dancing till dawn
I'm fooling around
I'm not giving up
I'm making your love
This city made us crazy and we must get out

'Calm like you' by The Last Shadow Puppets. Absolutely spectacular band with a sound that I just cannot explain. Must be heard to be believed.

Gotta be somebody bye Nickleback..

This time I wonder what it feels like
To find the one in this life, the one we all dream of
But dreams just aren't enough

So I'll be waiting for the real thing
I'll know it by the feeling
The moment when we're meeting will play out like a scene
Straight off the silver screen

So I'll be holding my own breath right up 'til the end
Until that moment when I find the one that I'll spend forever with

'Cause nobody wants to be the last one there
'Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares
Someone to love with my life in their hands
There's gotta be somebody for me like that

'Cause nobody wants to do it on their own
And everyone wants to know they're not alone
There's somebody else that feels the same somewhere
There's gotta be somebody for me out there

Tonight, out on the street, out in the moonlight
And you know this feels too right
It's just like déjà vu
Me standing here with you

So I'll be holding my own breath, could this be the end?
Is it that moment when I find the one that I'll spend forever with

'Cause nobody wants to be the last one there
'Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares
Someone to love with my life in their hands
There's gotta be somebody for me like that

'Cause nobody wants to do it on their own
And everyone wants to know they're not alone
There's somebody else that feels the same somewhere
There's gotta be somebody for me out there

You can't give up, looking for a diamond in the rough
You never know when it shows up
Make sure you're holding on
'Cause it could be the one, the one you're waiting on

'Cause nobody wants to be the last one there
And everyone wants to feel like someone cares
Someone to love with my life in their hands
There's gotta be somebody for me, oh

Nobody wants to be the last one there
And everyone wants to feel like someone cares
Somebody else that feels the same somewhere
There's gotta be somebody for me out there

I don't listen often to songs because I love Dance, House and Trance

Right now though I pretty much like the song Dance with Somebody from Mando Diao

The Lyrics are not interesting at all... but a video can be found here:

Lyrics:
Break your happy home
Learn to sing along
To the music, to the music
Clap your hands and shake
On a summer's day
To the music, to the music

[2x]
I'm falling in love with your favourite song
I'm gonna sing it all night long
I'm gonna dance with somebody
Dance with somebody
Dance, dance, dance

I'm gonna dance with somebody

When you're all alone
We become your home
Where the music, where the music
When your love's away, and you feel betrayed
We're the music, sweet music

[2x]
I'm falling in love with your favourite song
I'm gonna sing it all night long
I'm gonna dance with somebody
Dance with somebody
Dance, dance, dance

[30x]
Dance...

[Instrumental & Humming Part]

[4x]
I'm falling in love with your favourite song
I'm gonna sing it all night long
I'm gonna dance with somebody
Dance with somebody
Dance, dance, dance

I'm listening to song called "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" by Joan Jett.

I saw him dancin' there by the record machine
I knew he must a been about seventeen
The beat was goin' strong
Playin' my favorite song
An' I could tell it wouldn't be long
Till he was with me, yeah me, singin'

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

He smiled so I got up and' asked for his name
That don't matter, he said,
'Cause it's all the same

Said can I take you home where we can be alone

An' next we were movin' on
He was with me, yeah me

Next we were movin' on
He was with me, yeah me, singin'

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

Said can I take you home where we can be alone

An we'll be movin' on
An' singin' that same old song
Yeah with me, singin'

I love rock n' roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, baby
I love rock n' roll
So come an' take your time an' dance with me

Lol! Well, I am parked in the school's parking lot so I guess I could since it's a deaf school and not many people would hear the car being a moblie piano concert.

I just spit out my Coke.

I'm listening to Jillio's favorite artist Kenny G.

j/k!

Right now I'm listening to "Waiting for a Girl Like You" by Foreigner. I can't handle heavy metal or anything louder than soft rock given my dizziness.

"Let It Be" to "Love Shack?" That's quite a switch.

I used to play "Love Shack" over and over ad nauseum when the song first came out in the late 80s. Now I can't stand to hear it.

Great song!

"I Love Rock and Roll" was one of the first videos I saw on MTV back in the early 80s.

By the way, I have all of Joan Jett's albums. They rock!

(I'm in the mood for 80s music even if it is at a soft volume. )

OMG! I didn't know a music section exists haha.

I'm into all types of music from country to rock.
I dislike rap & metal music. I dig some screamo music but not the ones that scream throughout the whole song. My hears bleed lol.
Pop/dance music bores me quickly as well as OLD music anything before 2000's.
I just like modern music because I love female front bands and female rock singers.

Alright, I'm enjoying this band called "Hey Monday" they are a new band and yeah they get compared to Paramore haha.

Artist: Hey Monday
Album: Hold On Tight
Song: Run, Don't Walk <33333333333

Lyrics:

I am restless, and I keep trembling
Everyone watch me as I descend
Into a feeling that's overwhelming me
I finally stopped, stopped making sense

I can't stop talking to myself
I'm a desperate cry for help.

Run, don't walk
The sky is falling through
Don't talk tonight
I'm so confused
I'm lost, I'm lost with you.
I don't care where we are
Or where we're headed to
But I know I'm lost, I'm lost with you.
With you.

Your mouth keeps moving
But I've lost focus now
Clock keeps ticking, time's running out
Where we're headed, there's no heading back
Tripping ugly, I'm losing ground

I can't stop talking to myself
I'm a desperate cry for help.

Run, don't walk
The sky is falling through
Don't talk tonight
I'm so confused
I'm lost, I'm lost with you.
I don't care where we are
Or where we're headed to
But I know I'm lost, I'm lost with you.
With you.

For the record
When I'm with you
Things are looking better, for once
Everything is brighter, than the darkness
Before you.

Run, don't walk
The sky is falling through
Don't talk tonight
I'm so confused
I'm lost, I'm lost with you.

Run, don't walk
The sky is falling through
Don't talk tonight
I'm so confused
I'm lost, I'm lost with you.
I don't care where we are
Or where we're headed to
But I know I'm lost, I'm lost with you.

Duffy - Warwick Avenue

Artist: Duffy
Album: Rockferry
Title: Warwick Avenue

When I get to Warwick Avenue
Meet me by the entrance of the tube
We can talk things over a little time
Promise me you won't step outta line

When I get to Warwick Avenue
Please drop the past and be true
Don't think we're okay, just because I'm here
You hurt me bad, but I won't shed a tear

I'm leaving you for the last time baby
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I've been confused outta my mind lately
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I want to be free, baby you've hurt me

When I get to Warwick Avenue
We'll spend an hour, but no more than two
Our only chance to speak once more
I showed you the answers, now here's the door

When I get to Warwick Avenue
I'll tell you baby that we're through

I'm leaving you for the last time baby
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I've been confused outta my mind lately
You think you're loving but you don't love me
I want to be free, baby you've hurt me

All the days spent together, I wished for better
But I didn't want the train to come
Now it's departed
I'm broken hearted, seems like we never started
All the days spent together, when I wished for better
And I didn't want the train to come

You think you're loving but you don't love me
I want to be free, baby you've hurt me
You don't love me, I want to be free
Baby you've hurt me

i even sleep with it all night long.
