Calling All Deaf Musicians!

Is there a single soul in this forum that can decently play any musical instrument?

When I was a toddler I used to bang pots and pans, much to the chagrin of my parents. That was musician Endymion in training.

I'm a break dancer. Does that count too? Hey, you gotta have rhythm!

I play horn* and sing, but "decently"? Your mileage may vary.

I'm in the music program at my university.

*That would be the twisty, "French" one.

I used to play piano but I stopped when I became involved with other things. I'm trying to teach myself guitar but it's kind of hard when I'm not sure if I'm doing it right!

You couldn't resist, could you?

One can only hope that your parents' pots and pans were not of the finest quality, unless they intended to give you the state-of-the-art banging equipment.

Everyone has to have a rhythm. We are all born with it. Check your pulse. If you don't have it, you're dead.

Decently, as in you play well enough to rise above the common racket of meaningless noises and enough for people to enjoy the music.

French horn! That's hard. I'm now in awe of you.

I used to play alto saxophone and participate in my high school's marching band. My tutor coaxed me to sing, I mean, SING for her so she could teach me more about notes.

May no one hear me sing.

Are you claiming to possess THE Patrick Swayze rhythm, Mister Headless Creature of Banged-Up-Pots-'N'-Pans?

Senorita, donde esta mi carro? Dios mio! Bandidos! Bandidos!

Matter of fact, I can't compare myself to Swayze, but I have been told I have impeccable rhythm, especially for a white boy. I still need quite a bit of practice if I'm going to be the next Swayze, though. That guy's brilliant.

That's typical of many amateur and professional musicians. I don't know how to play the guitar yet, but I'd love to take a class at the community college someday. Or just find a cute guy from Craig's List who'll elect to teach me how to pluck the strings in exchange for free ASL lessons.

I'm a musical instrument expert!

Okay, listen up folks, the following is my official song. "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" was going to be my official song but I decided to make my own) Please gather all of your family and friends together around the monitor and sing it. In order to appreciate the song completely, you will need the following musical instruments:
a guitar
a harmonica
a banjo
a steel drum
three kazoos
a bass guitar
a fiddle
earplugs
aspirin
and a family member that can play all of the above instruments.
SPECIAL NOTE:
The faster you sing this song, the more enjoyment everyone will get out of it, as it will be over quicker.

What an adorable bunch of orange hairy split-ends! Can I take you home? You see, I'm studying botany and I'd love to examine you for my research project...

Why not take Nuty? He's a far more interesting Deuteromycota and responds well to incisively pleasurable scientific investigation.

I play accordion and melodica. I learned music before I lost my hearing. It was my whole life. I knew I couldn't live without it, so I had to find a way to hold onto it. All I have to do now is keep time by watching my dad's feet, and follow the notes on the page. I chose these instruments because I don't have to hear in order to play on key. I used to play the trumpet, clarinet, flute, and I bet I sounded terrible.

Me, too! I play bass as well as 6-string acoustic and electric guitars. I am hearing impaired and have been playing for 4 years.
