Hi guys! I moved here to Orlando almost two years ago and I am looking to meet fellow deaf or hard of heaing people. I am the only one out of my group of friends who is hard of hearing and I'm looking to meet new people who can understand who I am and what I go through on a daily basis. I currently have a cochlear implant and I've had it for almost three years. It was the best decision I've ever made in my life, point blank period. I know there is a deaf coffee chat at a Starbucks in Clermont, FL. I think it's on the 1st and 3rd Fridays each month, but I'm not positive. You might check that. I went to it once when visiting a friend, but I live too far away. (4 hours)
