Southern California Deaf Event!
This event will take place on April 19th 2010 from 6:30pm-9:00pm at
1801 W. Imperial Hwy, La Habra, CA 90631 (on the corner of Beach Blvd. and Imperial Hwy) http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...nia+90631&z=16 Chick Fil A at the La Habra Marketplace is holding its very first Deaf event by my request. I would much appreciate if anyone, Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or Hearing/ASL student wants to come and chat or practice would please join us. Purchasing food is not necessary but I will say that I will be behind the counter to do my best to take orders in ASL. My boss says that if there is a great enough turn out for this first one he will do it monthly, and if it continues to do well after 6 months he will assign all of our cashiers to learn ASL to be able to take ANY Deaf individual's order!
