Deaf month meet up Knoxville

A friend of mine gave me a flyer at the Deaf Tenn Expo 2008 and I figure I might pass this on...

It's World's Fair Socializing Night (Knoxville hosted the 1982 World's Fair and kicked the 1964 NYWF ass lol)

It will start Friday Oct 3 2008 and continue to December 4, 2009. Every 1st Friday of the month.

The event will start at 6-9 PM at the West Town Mall then move to the Family Bowl Strike n Spare at 213 Hayfield Rd (across the street from Beaty Chevy dealer) from 9pm to 2 am.

Need info? contact the organizer at worldeafairsocnight@yahoo.com

I will be at the bowling alley from 12AM to 2AM when I get off work as Im only a mile from work to the bowling alley.

Thanks for posting this info, Sablescort. I just might go up to Knoxville one of these days whenever I can. As you know, Knoxville is not far from where I am.

I think that'll do me good to get out and to meet other people too.

You could send your flyer copy to SendSpace so anyone could download the copy anytime... easy and free. Once done, insert the download link here... they will provide you a link.

It's at Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Hmm. I should go sometime - it has been so many years since I had been to West Town mall. Other than going on I-640 to Kentucky/Indiana, I haven't been past Cedar Bluff/Walker Spring(s)/Galligher (sp?) roads since I moved. I should find a day that I would have plenty of times to check Knoxville and TSD out.

Well I forgot to mention Knoxville's quite not the town you remember in '91. It's changed a LOT especially in Concord/Farragut where I live now. Concord/Farragut started BOOM in '96 and it aint stopped since
