What exactly does a Deaf Studies degree let you do? And does it matter if its just a certificate or an AA?

I just want to ask to make sure I go to school for the right thing. Im not sure exactly what the degree would let me do. The descriptions aren't very helpful--I dont think.

You can be a DVR counselor, among other things.
