I took A levels which were IT, English literature, English language, History and General studies.
I'm taking what you'd call a personal development course at the moment- teaches confidence, CV writing- all things needed for people to get back into work. I went to a St Johns Ambulance induction with my ex-friend years ago and a few meetings but nothing after that. As you know, thanks to me being your official AD stalker, I'm taking the ECDL computer course. Never done anything deaf related- looked up BSL class out of interest and it's £200, which I don't have. The ECDL is free as I'm on benefits at the moment, and £60 per module exam. I'd love to take art, crafts, textiles, knitting courses- I love crafts. I would also like to take a Psychology course and I also have an interest in pharmacology/anything relating to mental health medication. But I'm more academic than practical when it comes to medical sort of things. My friend works as a laboratory tester testing tile adhesive and she got sent on a course and has a tiling certificate! I'd like to learn woodwork. |

I'm currently collecting degrees
I have a BA in art (useless, but fun), currently working on a minor in philosophy (useless and not fun), although with the number of credits I have it might turn into another BA. And I'll hopefully start working towards a BS in asl-english interpreting this summer. Hopefully. If I get in - ah!

I have done a few courses.
1. Diploma in Business (Computer programming) 2. Diploma in Business (Microcomputing) (mainframes, etc) The IT courses were a waste of time, because everything I studied became obsolete after I graduated. And, schools didn't offer any work experience during the course in those days Grrr... 3. Diploma in Business (Administration) I would like to do a graphic design (preferably print related) course next year for fun.

I don't remember well... it's over 10 years ago but I got a BSE in computer engineering... I'm back to school now, for an AS in robotics & automated systems technology and a certificate in software engineering. In between those, I took countless trainings in child development, crisis management, psychology, etc at work but those are not college courses so they may not count...
