SSI and Gallaudet

Hi, quick question...

I am a Gallaudet student. My permanent residence address is in California, I go back during breaks. My Gally address is my temporary address. A few of my California deaf friends have mentioned they have been able to go to Gallaudet without SSA changing their SSI benefits.

Is it possible to do this if the permanent residence address is with a friend, not relative?

As long as you say you're going to school full time, then you're fine.
