How to Learn to Lip Read
Hi All,
I work in a high noise environment and would find the ability to lip-read incredibly useful (I don't have any hearing problems). Can I ask people with experience in the area, what is the most efficient way for one to learn how to lip read? Can you order a video course or something along those lines? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance |

I am no expert but I have to believe that lipreading successfully would have many variables. Is the person only partially facing you. Do they have a beard or mustache. Are they annunciating. Here is a test for you. Watch the news on TV. The anchor people are really pretty good about mouth movements. Turn down the volume and see if you can figure out what they are saying.
