Nah, you are never too old to be in college/University - even if you are over the age of 100.

I am about your age, meyag2. I am considering a return to college. I am thinking of giving the education field another shot.

I believe you are never too old. I may do it at retirement age when seniors are allowed to go for free.

doesnt matter anyway. I went to SJSU, had one class with senior citizen. i asked her, if its bother her by aging? She said, No, as long i can walk and run, learn and write. Im fine. I was like, wow...

Then end up, we went to Starbuck's and listening her wisdom.

Last year, my senior evening class had tons of adults (around 40's). They were seeking to better their skill and to advance their knowledge. If you want to have a salary increase, go to college and learn more!

Nope, never too old.

"Better late than never" would be a good motto for this thread.

Nope, its never too late. I 've known older people go to college/university for a variety of reason to get a BA, MA , and PHD's. Life is always a learning experience and being educated is one of them.

(Mod's note: Quote and bit of comment removed.)

Back on topic, I taught in a state college for 13 years, and put in many night class semesters in two Indian colleges. Half of our small college enrollment was "non-traditional students" (25 or older). Many students were older than me, the oldest was a 72-year-old great-grandmother with a 4-year 3.83 GPA who made her "peers" (and sometimes her professors) seem like dunces.

The old joke goes: "Youth is wasted on the young." Sometimes that goes for college, too.
