Help with ASL
I'm an international student now studying ASL. I havent never thought that I would be really into ASL like this. I love ASL a lot now. I wanna keep studying ASL but as an international student, I can't afford to pay such high tuition for ASL which is not my major. Because my parents are the one who pay the tuition so I dun wanna take a lot of money from them like that. I wanna find an outside school ( like study non-credit) which teaches ASL in Seattle. I paid 3 hours searching on the internet for a school but it seems hopeless. If anyone is an interpreter or deaf person who is able to teach me. Plz help~
Thanks a lot |

I used to go to Seattle, Washington to attend the Deaf program at the Seattle Central Community College back in 1974 to the late of 1976. I don't know if there is a beginning or/and intermediate ASL classes that you can study. Maybe you can go over there and ask them if they have one for you to learn. There is quite a lot of Deafies there with intepreters and notetakers. I don't know what college you are attending now. Just check around in Seattle and see what you can find. you might be surprise to find one that is cheaper for you, I think. I hope you find one that you like.
