I'm surprised our resident Deaf news guru, Ms. Delectable, hasn't picked this one up yet. A local Deaf Teacher was recently made Teacher of the Year at his school, and is in the running for district-wide Teacher of the Year honors within Miami-Dade County. Congrats!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful news Vinny. It is great to see someone being praised for the job despite having no speech skills. It shows that speech skills are not everything in a Deaf person's life.
