I found out something interesting from my boyfriend yesterday..and I thought I would share it with everyone.

My boyfriend's son is in Preschool. And apparently doing well.. son is hearing, in case anybody was wondering.

here's the shocker.. shocked my boyfriend and I both..

In this school... They are teaching the children ASL.. My boyfriend found out when his son was prompted to show what he learned in preschool. and he showed his ASL skills..

Needless to say... you can imagine the

on my boyfriend's face...

Then.. My boyfriend tells me.. and I got the same face...

I thought you guys would like to know about this.

my son's preschool teaches ASL too as well.. its spreading nationwide

That's awesome for u, Bearbeauty! Yea, it is interesting. Now, if all the oral-only deaf programs would do the same too. It would be too weird if all these hearing youngsters were being exposed to ASL at their schools and the deaf kids like myself weren't. That would be the biggest irony I would ever see, huh?

That's great!! I didn't know these programs existed except in places like Deaf schools that accept hearing and deafs sibs of the students for preschool! Wish this could become nationwide!
