What are the classes at RIT like compared to NTID? I'm curious to hear people's opinion on this.

RIT courses are like other bachelor-level courses.

NTID is a 2-year college for deaf student with a few exceptions...

1. AAS degree interpreting program for hearing students
2. BS degree interpreting program for hearing students
3. MS degree teaching degree program for hearing and deaf students

Normally, NTID offers AAS and AOS degrees for deaf students and their classes are "easier" and "extended" in ways that multiple courses would be merged to equal one course section in RIT.

For instance, 2 or 3 programming classes in NTID would be equal to 1 programming class in RIT.

The only way you can get into RIT is if you pass NTID's LADP (assessment) test that they give out at the beginning of each quarter (optional).
