Are Many Girls Snobby or Two-Faced at Gallaudet University?

I knew too many girls are snobby or two-faced at Gallaudet University? You never know if a girl is very snobby or two-faced when you notice she is very nice or friendly person around the campus. She is one who backstabbing about other people, looking down on someone else.

I wonder are girls really snobby or two-faced who involved sorority or chirstian organizations at Gallaudet University?

I never forget about those snotty people at my high school (Mayfield High School).. teachers, my gawd. I stopped going to any hearing class reunions ever since and I don't plan to attend any future class reunions.

Ironically, some Deaf people who graduated before and after me hate that school with a passion. they told me some stories. I vowed myself that I will not send my Deaf child to that school at all. Fuck that.

Of course there will be snobby and two-faced girls at Gallaudet just like anywhere in the world. There will always be people like that whether they are deaf, hearing, Black, White, Spanish, Indian, Chinese, and so on.

Not just Gallaudet itself.. there are snobby people everywhere you go. If I notice a snotty person here, I don't bother socializing with that person at all. Just be yourself and find someone who is not snotty.

It is very typical of those ages young students. When they become seniors, they may become more mature and realize.

It is not just at Gallaudet. Of course, at CSUN, NTID or RIT, everywhere else...

Do not point your finger at Deaf students. Hearing students too.

We have to accept for who they are. They are just kids !

There will be always snobby women everywhere you go, even at malls showing off their thin bodies. There's nothing you can do about it and move on to make new friends who are friendly and one faced.

Really?? about Gallaudet Geez! My College(hearing College) was not same Gallaudet Because I do remember visited there and see them myself that they re very fierce competition and tight groups.

Er...you are describing people in all walks of life. This is not particular to any specific place or time. People are people the world over and still have the same problems that people thousands of years ago had. Nothing new under the sun.

It's the same all over. Girls at Gally are no different from hearing schools - either they like you or not. Get over it. There are many fish in the sea - if a girl gives you the impression she does'nt like you - move on.

It isn't the problem with Gallaudet itself. It's the deaf community. Accidents are prone to happen and considering how tightly knitted the deaf community is, it is almost necessary to save face. Reputation is almost everything in this deaf world. Having to deal with social pressure, it is almost a given that any deaf person would be forced to save face by handling a two-faced identity or a snobby attitude.

Gee, yet you are part of the deaf community and so often you had to save face many times. And didn't you cave in to social pressure once? Re-directed it at you for what? How is the pm any relevant to the topic if it was an attack? You have failed to explain why it is an attack in your view? Is it any different from how the deaf community at RIT felt they were attacked by an insult comic?

I would like you to point out all the "assumptions" and all the "irrationalities" in my above post. If you cannot do that, you will have shown to the entire world that you cannot exercise common sense at all.

It would depend on the group that the girls are involved with and the girls themselves.

There's a group at NTID that's an all-girls group who believe that women can do anything... by themselves. Their quote? "We pee by ourselves." I've met a lot of couples who came into NTID, only to break up months later after the girl joined that group. I've worked with that group several times only to be yelled in my face because I treat them like they can't do anything (when I was actually trying to help or offered my services like everyone else does). One guy was dating one gal when both came to NTID. He was always making her happy, doing things for her, anything that was cute. After a few months of being with that group, she became selfish. Once, she dropped her school bag. Her boyfriend bent over to pick up the school bag for her, and she yelled back "Hey, I can do it myself!" Things got worse from there and they broke up. My group was involved in a huge BBQ along with 2 other groups (one was a sorority). The sorority and my group showed up on time to get prepared, but this group didn't. After setting up our BBQ area and the sorority's foam party area, we decided to set up this group's area... their table for their smoothies. We put the table next to our BBQ area since people eat and then finish off with a sweet drink. After decorating the tables, this group showed up 30 minutes late and started yelling at us telling us that we had no right to touch their tables. They immediately removed everything we put on... and moved their table to another section of the quad. Yep, this new location was 50 feet out of the way from our BBQ location. The BBQ was a great success. The foam party failed (due to delivery guy getting lost in traffic and no-show), but the sorority helped us out. This group? They basically finished decorating their table, came to our section and ordered us around... then went back to their table.

There's a sorority that I worked well with in the past. One year, a lot of older sisters left and newer members joined. The new members had a preference for a different fraternity, so the whole sorority ended up swaying in the direction of that fraternity. They wouldn't cooperate with my group after a long history of working together well in the past. Sadly, a lot of their recent members are also members of the all-girls group I recently mentioned. Perhaps, they're trying to make a sorority that guys won't get close to?

There's another sorority full of women who loved to party with guys. A lot of the older members left and newer members joined. Most of those newer members were lesbians and pretty much led most of the sorority to become lesbians.

Case 2: Can feminism be dangerous and mindless? Apparently it is so!
Case 3: Can a simple agenda of a sorority group be changed over time to promote stupidity? Apparently, yes.

I remember a story in the year 2000, a deaf fraternity at NTID was kicked off the campus because they had sexually raped some sorority girls.
