FM thru school?

Anyone who has used fm in school please post...lol

Experiences with it, likes/dislikes, and what kind of system you have..i live in canada and am not sure what kind of systems are offered here..the only one i know of is phonak and thats it...im spose to be gettin one for when school starts again but i dont think at the moment that anyone in my school has one so my school mite be slow at getting it..so hopefully its there the first day..anyways appreciate ur input. thanks ad

It worked well for me. I used a phonak Microlink; the closest thing now to what I had is probably the Phonak Campus-S.

It belonged to the school (or rather, a consortium of local school districts), so I wasn't technically allowed to bring it home ... but I did now and then anyway.

My one bit of advice: if the microphone is on the end of a cord (like on the Campus-S) rather than integrated into the transmitter (like the Smartlink and the Oticon Lexis), make sure you ask for one or two spares, as they fail easily. Even if it didn't look broken, that was the first thing I always checked after making sure the battery was charged, and 9 times out of 10, replacing that cable fixed the problem.
