I have decided to not transfer to GU this fall because I am on academic probation at my current college. I failed my statistics class, which was the class I had the most trouble with. I may transfer in the fall of 2007.

Do transfer to GU only if it matches your career goal and major. Best of luck with your classes this fall, and I hope you get an opportunity to improve your grades and get an opportunity to attend Gallaudet. I think every deaf person should at least visit Gallaudet once in their lifetime.

I agree wholeheartedly with that statement! I realize Gallaudet isn't the right place for everyone, but I do think it has a special something that shouldn't go unrecognized by university and college deaf students everywhere. I know several friends of mine have started considering going to Gally at least for a semester since I've been talking about it.

I will be studying Sociology/Social Work which is depended on where I finish my undergraduate degree. If I transfer to Gallaudet, it will be Social Work. I am taking much easier classes in fall than statistics. If you want, I can list the classes.
