My Highest GPA... Yet!

The highest GPA I ever received at RIT was during my first quarter (Winter 1999-1). That GPA was 3.46 and I made the dean's list at that time. That was the only time I ever made the dean's list. The second highest was 3.38, which was a few years later.

This recent quarter, I just received a 3.67 GPA! Whew! I'm currently in graduate school and am hoping to get a 4.0 before I graduate. I've got two more quarters left.

Congrats! I'm currently stuck with a 2.2 average... Highest quarter was 2.6 for last Spring (2004-3), lowest was 1.8 for last Fall (2004-1).

Still, it's awesome to hear that you're doing well! You can get the 4.0 if you do your best! Go for it!

You know, they say that true geniuses flunk out of college at least once with an abysmally low GPA before they go on to wild success.

By the way, congrats, VamPyroX!

3.67 is great! That's a Magna cum Laude effort!

I do not believe you....

You seem so highly intelligent to me but your low GPA? Isn't time for you to close your AD account.

Good going Vamp--whether you do get the 4.0, at least you can leave knowing that you've done your best and acheived remarkably well...congratulations! Keep it up through the next 2!

Well done, mate!

For Australia, the highest GPA you can get is 6.8 in universities.

I am aiming for a GPA of 6.0 +

WTF!? 6.8 GPA? How does it work over there?

Here, it's... on a scale of 1 to 100: A (90 & above), B (80 to 89), C (70 to 79), D (60 to 69), and F (59 & below).

Eh? Where you get that?

Basically, it's 4.0, 3.0, 2.0, 1.0, and 0.0 with nothing in between. If you get a 91, you have a 4.0 for your GPA. If you get a 89, you have a 3.0 for your GPA.
