When speaking to MM about the rising gas prices Obama said: There is no silver bullet. Anybody who tells you otherwise isn't really looking for a solution: they're trying to ride the political wave of the moment.
However, Obama's solution has been declared as: promoting his record of increased domestic oil and gas production: stricter fuel-effeciency standards for cars and trucks: and investments in alternative energy, like biofuel, wind and solar power.
Let the FACTS show that Obama's solution is part of the problem not a solution. First he has prevented the Keystone pipeline. He also unnecessarly prevented drilling in the Gulf. Just this week his party prevented drilling on American soil.
Second, we can all go right out this evening and buy a new car that gets 12 miles per gallon. So much for his idea of "stricter standards", it is more like same old, same old.
Third, Obama's picks for alternative energy are just like his pickes for March Madness, all losers and costing the American people a ton of money to cover his bets.
