No, I am not a member of any fundamental organization. It concerns me because judging from how Muslims were treated after 9/11, that the same treatment will be directed towards any perceived "fundamentalist christian" in the aftermath of this attack. They are "people" too.

History has a habit of repeating itself. Of course, I hope I am wrong.

I asked earlier if you had read his manifesto - it is parallel with the hateful rantings in Mein Kampf. Hitler felt the Jews were "on a trajectory to take over Europe and erase its culture patrimony".

Same hateful rant - different religion is the scapegoat.

yes you are wrong.

why? the "majority" is white people. As the history has been shown repeatedly... any awful thing done by minority race (black, Muslim, etc.) - we get angry and hate crimes ensue. and any awful thing done by white people - we get angry and then forgot about it in a short time.

Not exactly. Close .... but that definition does not entirely fit his ideology.

The Knights Templar are not fundamentalists and are loosely based on fundamental beliefs in scripture. They have misinterpreted scripture into a violent ideology. They are a militant extremist group. A far cry from being "fundamentalists". The Knights of Templar are what one would deem an "assassin". There are absolutely no fundamentalist christian organizations that I know of that advocate murder. There are, however, extremist organizations that do.

how amusing but I'm not interested. You are notorious for making up your own definitions and fitting everything to your own distorted reality.

IMO - X-File tv show is much more believing than your story.

What makes me feel so pissed off is that mass murderer will may face to up to 21 years only in prison. It is very much like just a slap on the wrist.

They should either charge him 21 years for each murder or reconsider their law starting now! 21 years, for killing almost 100 children?! Ridiculous!

Yes, I meant him. I didn't want to type out all the letters of his name.

Forget the religious issue, it is not the real problem. The real problem is gun control. This scumbag took huge advantage that no one around has gun to kill him in order to defend themselves. Supposely there is no strict gun laws where norway requires owner to lock the gun and put away. Then that scumbag will think twice before shooting.

Just think for a moment, like I said if everyone on that island has gun, this probably won't be this bad.

We could turn this into a gun control issue, but this guy knew what he was doing; He knew how to work the system (became a farmer to have access to fertilizer to build a bomb without detection).

I think it is slightly amusing to see how the media is spinning this into a story of "right wing nut jobs at work". They have already labelled him as a "fundamentalist christian" when he isn't (to plant that political seed), and have already labelled him as a far right wing extremist.

How quickly they forget:

There Is Yet No Loughner / Far-Right Connection - By Daniel Foster - The Corner - National Review Online

He was nuts .... end of story.

You were blabbering about why I would be concerned about "this guy's" fundamentalist label.

A fundamentalist christian does not describe themselves as "agnostic" such as "this guy" has described himself.

A fundamental independent christian church does not advocate murder, much less, mass murder.

There are far more serious political issues at play. "This guy" was MORE than your average, typical, run of the mill, nutter.

He was a Nationalist (equates to the ideology of Hitler and the Nazis).

He felt Norway was being overrun by Muslims and felt his racial heritage was under attack by them. He felt his own government was doing nothing to prevent this attack. That is why he planted a bomb near the government headquarters and attacked the political party's "children" he felt were responsible for allowing this "attack on his racial heritage" happen. He felt they were traitors to their own heritage.

BTW, there were co-conspirators - Scotland Yard is investigating his London connections. The French raided his father's home in France - and wouldn't you know it? His dad is a diplomat .... imagine that.

Not your typical nutter.
