Single mum Kerry Campbell wants her daughter to become a star, which is why she injects the child with Botox. Eight-year-old Britney also wants a breast enlargement. The child's beauty routine includes climbing onto a beautician's table every three months so her mum can inject her face with Botox and fillers, which beautician Ms Campbell, 34, buys online. The substances are injected into Britney's forehead and lips and around her eyes. "The beauty-pageant obsessed single mum also takes her to have her body waxed, in a bizarre bid to stop her growing hair when she eventually hits puberty," The Sun reported. Ms Campbell said the treatments would guarantee that Britney would become famous as a teenager. "What I am doing for Britney now will help her become a star," she said. "I know one day she will be a model, actress or singer, and having these treatments now will ensure she stays looking younger and baby-faced for longer. "I'm sure people reading this will think I am being irresponsible, but I ensure that I test the Botox and fillers I buy online on myself first. "All I want is for Britney to have the best start in life, so it is easier for her to become a superstar. More mothers should do it for their daughters." Ms Campbell, originally from Birmingham but now living in San Francisco, said her daughter was a lucky little girl. "(She) is going to be famous because of the benefits I am giving her so early," she said. Britney's father, a research scientist who died four years ago aged 83, regarded the beauty treatments as normal. The child demanded the top-ups of Botox because she could see wrinkles. "My friends think it's cool I have all the treatments and they want to be like me. I check every night for wrinkles, when I see some I want more injections," Britney said. "They used to hurt, but now I don't cry that much. "I also want a boob and nose job soon, so that I can be a star." Such treatments were common in the competitive world of American child beauty pageants. "When Britney takes part in pageants, parents talk about how they have given their daughter an extra jab to plump her lips or lose a wrinkle. Everyone is doing it and talking about it," Ms Campbell said. "She also has her virgin wax monthly, which gets rid of her fluffy leg hair and makes sure she won't develop pubic hair in the future. "It will save her a fortune in waxing when she's older." OMG, the mother should be shot! She's ruined her in ways that will be not be revealed until later.

The mother is sick...the child is growing up too fast and will grow up believing that her outer appearance is more important than the inner, what she is/feels inside.....Lots of psychological problems down the line, I believe.

I agree with everyone but I take it a step further..I consider this abuse..This young girl has not even fully developed naturally in hgt, wght, and to have your mom tell you and everyone else that you are going to be a star if you have these things done is in my opinion, emotional and psychologicical abuse.
This MOM is stealing this girl's childhood. and the first time she doesn't win she will be shattered and forever question "what's wrong with me? She is also instilling into her daughter that her worth is determined by how she looks and what other ppl think of her..how very sad. Nothing about this is "normal"...and I know this is probably not an isolated case. Someone needs to step forward and get child welfare involved. I can only imagine what this precious child has heard from age 1 to 3 , proven the most formative years. At some point in her life she will be shattered ...and what about the professionals who are helping the mom, they should be prosecuted. another reason why I belive so strongly having a child is a serious decision.. it's often I have heard friends say .." oh I want a baby" its like I want a rug or a dog.....This little girl is being sent every wrong message there is...I will pray someone has the strenth of character to intervene...I am so saddened. I am actually crying about this...the loss of another precious child,,Midnight♥ |

The mother is trying to live her life through her daughter's! If is really sick and I wonder if there is a father in the girl's life why the HELL he is stop doing something to protect his daughter from her insane abusive mother !
The poor girl, she is not being allow to be a child! She is being treat as some sex object by her twisted sick psycho mother who should be locked up! |

Damn that's outright abuse, I don't care how the mother tries to justify it. It is blatant child abuse pure and simple. No child should be put through. I forsee the development of a very low self-esteem which could lead to A) an eating disorder B) drug use C) depression and/or suicide. All three options are bad. I say they should remove the girl from the mother and place her with a relative that is more 'real American' like say an aunt or grandparents if possible. They should just step back and let this girl be a girl.
I am a single parent and my DD is a diva without a doubt but at the same time I teach her things like the value of hard work, not giving up at the first hurdle, and just letting her be a kid. I've never entered her in a pageant and frankly I don't want her in pageants. It's very cutthroat from what I am told. She doesn't need to be around that in my opinion.

not just this woman is whacked out, but shows the power of the media, and how much people feed of it, so in return they want IN it...in their own bizzare way, like they dont seem to realise th 'messages' they get is really only for marketing not perfection, but then again the marketing hypes relies on 'language of the perfect ideal' its just been taken way way too literal... and its stupid

VERY VERY dumb!! Poor girl have no childhood experinece!
 I do agreed with few others ADers! Mother should be in J A I L and child should be in a proper good home.
