Yes!

Although Mavericks is supposed to be up again tomorrow so I may head out there to watch the craziness. One of the best surfers in the world died Monday out there.

Thousands just died in a round of earthquakes. Does anyone seem to notice that? No...it's like people are *hoping* for something else to happen. As far as I know, all of the teachers I know have never cheated but then again, it is just to my knowledge.

I see you skimmed right over how the richter scale is measured in algorithms ... oh well, nothing new here. Same trolling methods as usual.

The first reported measurement was 8.9 - it was then updated to a 9.0 and some reports are saying it was upgraded to a 9.1

Just to give a example .... the difference between an 8.2 quake and an 8.9 is NOT .7 - an 8.9 quake is 5x more powerful than an 8.2 (not 7x) - the seismic energy is equated by algorithms and the energy released is measured in the thousands
