I was recently told that one of the dead people from the flooding was a Deaf woman by my friend who grew up in Brisbane. :(

It sure sucks that cars washed away from parking lot. I bet Dealers would love to dry it and sell it for dirty profit unless Australia have similiar online Car background check like we have in USA.

deaf people didn't die of flooding.
 
Wow...that's frightening! That man really risked his life to save his white truck.

We would get flash floods like these during the monsoon season in Phx and people have died trying to cross them.
 
The flooding in Australia has been devastating to life and property. :(

My thoughts and prayers go to those people, family and friends...

Where is Jake? I hope he's OK. Is he on vacation? Or what?

I"m fine.
I am 14 hours drive away from where the massive floods are located.
I've been on AD vacation, apparently.
