Basic ASL college student

Hello, my name is Samii, and I am a student at Ocean County College in Toms River NJ. I am in basic in ASL, and I am loving it. After next semester I am going to be entering an interpreting program, and I am absolutly loving deaf culture. What I was wondering was if anyone knew of any deaf events coming up in the central/southern NJ area. I need to fullfill 15 hours, but I am having issues finding events where I can meet and chat with some deaf individuals. Please let me know if you are aware of any in NJ, and I do know of a few, so if you are interested in the dates and locations, please let me know. Thanks, -Samii Stocker
