You know..........while I do believe that there are a lot of legitimate transsexuals, it does seem like there are some people who think " I don't quite fit into this or that catagory" Therefore I MUST be a man or a woman. It seems like they are buying into strict gender roles.
There ARE people who are legitimately TS, but most of those seem to have known they were " different" from a very early age. |

It does seem like a lot of TS folks knew they were different from a very early age ( like little kid age) but at the same time there's still some "TS" who didn't realize they were sexually different until they were older teens or even in their twenties. I think some of the late realizers might be buying into social pressure to adhere to traditional gender roles. You can be this or that way without having a particualr body part. |
