Perhaps Old World (15th-17th Century) sailors and captains was right about sea monsters.

PowerON, you mean Megamouth shark or extremely rare Megashark with little evidences approve they are still alive?

Or dragons. There's some evidence that we had dragons but they died off...went exinct.
