Boston Tea Party Ship & Museum

Here you go, It's a good read.

Boston Tea Party is basically where a lot of angry people during the Revolution War decided to have a protest over UK taxing on the teas and dumped the teas in the ocean.

I can't wait to visit there when the renovation will be done in summer 2010. It is currently closed for renovation.

They should tax the hell out of porn, even the internet sites somehow. There's a high demand and no one is going to stop buying or seeing that junk.

You're welcome.

Well, I think "scammed" is pretty much a hefty word to begin with. Although, I can say that some things are reasonable to be taxed to begin with but however, it should be with moderation. I don't think it is necessary to tax everything just because some such desperate measure requires it to do so. The tax issue has been ongoing for a long time and it even existed way before the Revolution War though.

Cool. I've always wanted to go there to have a look but never did get to go there. Maybe some day I will, Who knows?

It just pisses me off that theres all these untapped vices that could be brought into the fray, legalized and taxed.

Internet Gambling for example. None of the sites are from the US. And its a Trillion dollar industry with of course a big fraction of buisness coming from US citizens. Why does the govt choose to ignore that?? Thats a cash cow if i ever seen one! But of course, theyre retarded, blinded by old maid traditional values that "OMG gambling is BAD!"

LOL

No, I haven't.

Since some people think I was around for the first Tea Party, I figured I did my duty once enough.

THE First Boston Tea Party

I just wanted to send out the correct history of the Boston Tea Party.
The Boston Tea Party occured on December 16, 1773. Paul Revere joined up with a group of Patriots calling themselves the Sons of Liberty. The Sons of Liberty boarded 3 ships carrying tea from England and proceded to dump most if not all into Boston Harbor. They did this in response to the British Government allowing the East India Tea COmpany to undercut other tea merchants thus allowing them to effectivlly put colonial merchants out of business or causing severe financial hardship to them. The Boston Tea Party was not part of the revolutionary war, but a catalyst for the revolution. The Revolutionary War was a war for Liberty and in protest of taxation with out representation. The British were taxing almost everything that the colonists needed and used. The British Parliment (the governing body of England) consists of the House of Lords and House of Commons...no memeber of the Parliment was from the colonies so therefore we were being taxed with no chance of stating our case against these unfair taxes. (Sounds familiar doesn't it???) For those of you who were ill informed, I know that it is not your fault that you did not learn about this as todays' government schools choose to not teach real American History any longer. Instead they choose to focus on "playing well with others" and the liberal agenda of MOST teachers.
No one was injured during the orriginal Boston Tea Party. The only damage done to the ships was a broken lock (that was replaced a few days later with a new one.) Several persons attemped to reimburse the East India Company for the value (minus taxes of course) of the tea that was destroyed, however these overatures of peace were rejected. So that pretty much made it the very first peaceful demonstration.

I encourage all that were born after 1970 or so to try to obtain some history books that were printed before the mid 1970's or so...

oh yeah... and the Paul Revere to whom I refer is the guy who made the famous ride (read the poem by Henry Wasdworth Longfellow) NOT the guy who had the band in the 1960's

I got all my info from believe it or not, a Weekly Reeder Children's Book Club Book copywrighted in 1973 and Wikipedia...

How would they tax sex?

I guess we're not allowed to be happy. Let's hope they don't tax happiness next!

Yeah right! that is hilarious...sex gets rid of colds? I wish! I just finally got over my stupid cold and I have sex all the damn time...and it doesn't cure colds...colds are viral so there is no cure...if sex cured colds, I would have been over my cold a MONTH ago!!!

It works for me just fine. Sex is part of exercise -- not just only sex, but other exercises such as joggin' or walkin' or bicyclin' -- anythin' that helps to boost immune systems. I don't get colds for a looong time except, maybe "aachooo" due to spring ( hayfever ). It only takes a day or 2 to get well after that. My immune system is strong because, I exercise alot and eat right food.

*shrug* It wouldn't hurt to ask what it was, if school don't teach. Schools don't teach everythin'. AD is part of education.
