...could be employed after his prison term.
49ers, Vikings could pursue Vick - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

I personally think he should be kicked out of the league with a drop-kick and forced to do poop scoop duty at an animal shelter for the rest of his working years without pay.

I wouldn't trust him around the innocent animals in a shelter.

For the ones who don't get adopted, they need to feel compassion while they are there.

I agree. I wish there was a way to make him pay so that he would be reminded daily because the dogs he bought and sold to be fought either died fighting to survive, or had to be euthanized because they had become so aggressive.

Perhaps he should be stripped of everything he has, trained and worked to his absolute limit daily (IE chain him to a treadmill for hours or until he collapses), make just moving a workout - (IE require him to wear a weighted vest 24/7 because his dogs had to wear heavy metal collars that were heavy that made it hard to lift their necks, thus lifting their heads becomes a workout).

Feed him the same slop and water everyday. He's tethered to a car axle by a heavy logging chain and his 'home' is a 70 gallon barrel with some hay thrown in for insulation in the winter.

Refuse even the most basic medical care. If he gets hurt just pour some alcohol on it, somewhat bandage it and chain him up for a day or two to heal.

Maybe a post-prison life like that might wake him up to what he's done.

I would sure agree with that plan Dixie.

But it will not happen to a human being, even when they did it to animals who were defenseless first.

mostly professional sports got fired or whatevers types on codes in NFL rules.

im sure Mr.Vick will learn his lesson he will work at animal shelter clean animal poop and lots of mores BUT no abuse of dogs!

WHY is the NFL even considering it... its appalling. What a great role model for those kiddies today

Maybe we should be pointing our children toward role models that can do something other than throw a ball.

The vikings could use him big time. Tavaris Jackson is terrible.

The man could still play, thats all I care about.

That's exactly what I'm thinking Jillio! Yeah sure getting paid a million bucks to throw a football sounds nice but that window of opportunity is so small and minuscule and a lot of NFL draftees drop out of the league within 5 years because it's not what its cracked up to be. Look at Matt Jones. He was a star quarterback for the Razorbacks; a first round pick to the Jaguars and less than 5 years later he's busted for drugs and thrown off the team. Clint Stoerner, same story, star quarterback for the Hogs, played with the Cowboys for two years, quit and returned to Arkansas and works as a consultant for some company in Fayetteville.

I think kids need to realize that there is more than just sports. You can make a living doing a million other things.

michael vick will play again i think jets? :ugh:

So that mean he is free after 4 or 5 years?

I noticed the thread by Dixie was back in 2009. Not again, I hope. He is a jerk when it come to animal abuse. I don't like what he was doing to them.

Hey, Vicks was a star few playoff teams in Atlanta before all this happens. I realize that he did go into playoffs with Eagles last year, but he was injured. He is not going to make the playoffs with the Jets.

Good luck.
