Say if we banned guns, there are other ways that criminals or crazy manic can killed others by using knives, stoned, lead pipe, anything they can strangled with, etc. It's not just guns.
I don't feel safer without guns. My husband is a hunter. Every fall, he goes deer hunting and we eat deer meat.

Heck, there is a serious attempt out there to control what people say which is "political correctness" gone amonk. There is never a satisfactory limit to control nor the "POWER" over others. While this appears to be "over the top" for some, the last 25 years alone have been very instructive on laws that attempt to control human behavour. There seems to be the belief that people are too stupid to decide things for themselves. Unfortunately, people do tend to do really stupid things like the recent case about the twins where one of them killed the other over a stinkin' piece of gum!!!

Will the world be safer? No, It won't, people will find another weapon to use even if not guns. Unfortunately, I don't like guns never have, never will. I think bombs are the most frighten weapon in the world, guns would be second. IMO.
