(CBS/AP) In a combative interview on "Fox News Sunday," former President Bill Clinton defended his handling of the threat posed by Osama bin Laden, saying he tried to have bin Laden killed and was attacked for his efforts by the same people who now criticize him for not doing enough.

"That's the difference in me and some, including all of the right-wingers who are attacking me now," Clinton said in the interview. "They ridiculed me for trying. They had eight months to try, they did not try."

Clinton accused host Chris Wallace of a "conservative hit job" and asked: "I want to know how many people in the Bush administration you asked, 'Why didn't you do anything about the Cole?' I want to know how many people you asked, 'Why did you fire Dick Clarke?"'

He was referring to the USS Cole, attacked by terrorists in Yemen in 2000, and former White House anti-terrorism chief Richard A. Clarke.

ABC TV 9/11 movie was the truth.When you lash out and act wild like that in the courtroom the jury will think youre guilty.See Wallace is like a prositcuter like Perry Mason was.They always get the truth out.Just like Mike Wallace makes you look guilty on 60 minutes.

For those who haven't yet seen it, this week's political theater is provided by Bill Clinton, vigorously defending his legacy on anti-terrorism. You can hardly find this video on the social networks, because FOX's legal team has swung into action, sending out cease and desist letters like junk mail. Seems almost like they want to be able to ridicule him on their network as being overly-emotional or incompetent, but not let people see the whole interview easily. Instead, FOX has put a link to the first few minutes of the interview on their front page, but the remaining 3/4 of interview is buried in separate clips at the bottom of the video page. You have to scroll down to find them, or sit through an additional 30 seconds of ads for each clip on the roll-over. It is obvious that FOX is trying to limit access to the entire interview in context and pushing only the part in which they feel Clinton's counter-attack is weakest. It's a masterful demonstration of how to do a digital lynching under the guise of a business case.

The always honest and brave Olbermann takes his swipe at the blame-Clintonistas. He may be the best thing on TV.

Boult, You will swollow your tounge when Pres.Bush declassified the information of NIE. Condi Rice has no information when she entered the White House because Clinton was so embarrased by the performance of his administration. He ordered the administration to throw out the evidence before the takeover (after alfie gore finally conceeded). Pres. Bush only has 8 months to figure this out with no information, but Clintoon with evidence, had 8 years and done nothing! Clinton had two chances to take out Usama Bin Lauden but he refused to pull the trigger. What and idiot! Condi in the interview, is willing to challange Clinton and waiting. Apparently Clinton chickened out! The "Path of 9/11" is based on 9/11 commision report from CIA, FBI, and Department of Justic. It is impossible to falsified these documents (Which was ORDERED by both houses and senate) because the whole government gave up all the details at this moment in no time. If ABC decided to change or rewrite the movie, FCC will halt the movie released to the public until the truth is set right from the book. The dems was complaining that they don't want the embarrising details what they did before the 2006 election. ABC took out some of it to make them happy. Dems is still losing ground anyway. The truth is starting to reveal more clearly soon. Like Kart Rove said " There will be an October Suprise"! As the matter of fact, Bush has been telling the truth the whole time from the start.
 
Oh about the Olbermann, LOL

Olbermann so bad wanted O'Rielly ratings. O'Reilly ratings is 7 times better than his. He is trying hard I mean so hard to get himself up. But still not enough!

Olbermann will be next Dan Rather.

Why indeed? I've seen it so many times that I'm sick of it. They showed it on the news over and over and over again. Jay Leno even made a skit using a clip from it on his program.

No No. You are wrong. Far before it happened, Bush and Osama bin Laden were oil stock partners for a long time. Somehow, they didn't agree and do not along with each other. It has nothing to do with the 9/11, but Osama knew that Bush would win his election so it made him so angry. Actually, Bush Sr. started the problem. In complex situation, Osama planned that Iraq would attack Saudi property for oil so that it convinced Bush Sr. to send U.S. troops to protect Saudi which made other countries pissed off. Osama succeeded his plans. Please think about between Bush and Osama - the stock investors. I think that you get the ideas of this progress of the attacks. Bush Jr. was the responsible for more attacks on Iraq after they captured Saddam. It is a huge mess because 9/11, Afghanistan, and Iraq are very different situation. Don't forgot that Osama was thrown out of Saudi Arabia country far before he started the war.

My own opinion is that Saddam started a small war, but he was horrible leader that tormented his own people. U.S. army discovered hundreds of people that buried in the desert. Don't you remember that on the news?

Recently, millions of people watched the 9/11 movie (TV), and Bush's speech interrupted in the middle of that movie. In fact, he knew that everybody are watching that movie, and Bush did it on his purpose to cover some parts of the movie that he does not want you to know about.

You are never going to know the real story on what really happened before, during, & after 9/11. Thats the Government for you, They cover up so much that you & I & everyone else in the states don't know. You gotta stop this blame game. No matter what our so-called Government screwed up rather if it was the Republicans &/or Democrats.

I agree totally with Boult & Wallace should be fired from ABC TV for all of that. So what if you stand up & court & defend yourself, Clinton had every right to because of that idiotic movie..One day when you get out of your denial world about Clinton & stop believing everything you see on T.V., Movies, etc..You just might wake up & realize that. Thats mainly all Bush has done since he's been in office & being obsessed with war especially in Iraq. Why? Oil? Freedom? America safer? Weapons of Mass Destruction? Whatever.

I'm sure alot of people are sorry they voted for Bush. But really, we don't actually get to vote for the President of The United States. The Government just makes you think that you are. I learned that in Government class back in high school. Its actually Congress that votes for the president.
