Talking U2 Concert

I couldnt find music category here so had to post here. Naturally music wouldnt be a huge part of this forum!

Anyhow I am wondering if any of you are into U2? I just bought tickets to see U2 on December 19, the very last stop on their 2005 Tour!!! I am pumped with excitement but depressed that Portland, Ore is the very last stop on their tour and that I have to wait until December!!

I am a HUGE fan of Bono - he is such awesome powerful leader for causes, not just music. He truly inspires me.

I went to see Sting last winter and it was awesome because concerts now provide interpreters so it is really fun to go to concerts these days, thanks to ADA. That is one of perks of ADA that I really see happening for us, in comparsion to other areas of ADA being 'watered down'.

Way COOL, Meggie!! I was a HUGE U2 fan back in the 1980s. After Rattle and Hum was released, I sorta lost interest in them, though. However, I still enjoy cuts off of their Joshua Tree album. I hope you have a really good time!!!

I'm also a Sting fan!

Yay...another 80's music fan! I think 80s music really rocks and still to this day!

I am still a huge fan of U2 despite changes because Bono has transformed into this passionate, loud and concise leader of many social causes and that really inspires me because he uses his celebrity to improve the world, unlike many other selfish celebrities who do not lift a finger to contribute back to society.

Yep yep! I love the music from the 1980s. Much moreso than today's music. Don't get me wrong. I'll listen to just about anything, but I prefer listening to music from the '80s. Probably because I was a teen then, and I was old enough to know what the heck I was listening to.
