And... I used to be an account-holder! Whew!

I used to have an account with Bank of America. I closed my account because they screwed me over. I had a specific account called Versatel Account. This account is an ATM user account. I was fine until they changed the Versatel Account policies. Instead of doing my transaction anywhere at no charge, I had to use only the ATM machine. That means, any transaction I made other than their ATM machine... I would be charged for it. Of course, I did this for a month without knowing because they never told me. One day, I wrote a check to one place because I thought I had enough money in there. The check bounced. Of course, there was another check out there that hadn't been processed yet because that business didn't process it until a week later. That "week later" happened to be about the same time this check was bounced. Now, I had two checks bouncing back and forth. Both business processed my check twice. The bank also charges $25 for each time a check is bounced. The business also charge $25 for bounced checks as well. Yes, one business was dumb enough to process it more than twice. Now, I had a negative balance on my account... and the bank didn't even tell me until a month later! I got pissed off and went to the bank. I asked them why it took them so long to tell me and they simply told me that they send out all information monthly. Jeez! I asked why they didn't call me and they said that they don't do personal phone calls to people. I got pissed off and just closed my account with them. I paid off my dues and closed my account... never to come back with them again. Now, I am with Wells Fargo. Whew!

Whew Glad I closed my account at Bank of America on Aug 2000 after used for almost 10 years.

Sad to see Bank of America lost more customers.

Oh boy... good thing that my account is still in Alaska. I don't trust "political" states ( lower 48 states ). There is goin' to be makin' new laws if, anythin' happens like this....such as "high security" due to 9/11 and other things. Geez whiz ...*sigh*

i dont know if you guys read this correctly but,

Bank of America Corp. has lost computer data tapes containing personal information on 1.2 million federal employees, including some members of the U.S. Senate.

you guys are not federal employee's

(thats just my assumption anyway unless you work for the gov't)

I didn't read that part lol, stupid me. Some of my friends work for fed govt so some of them may be in risk. Anyways, 1.2 million is alot of employees working for federal government!
