A defeat for WOMENS RIGHTS!!!
15 years ago on the morton downey jr show a protester for mens rights mel feit was protesting by wearing a dress because over a female supervisor fired him for inoppreate dress code. Mel feit went to the ACLU and they refused to take his case. But 16 months earlier a woman was fired because she was told by her boss to wear a dress to work but she came in wearing a pair of slacks. He told her 3 times to wear a dress to work or she will be fired. She wore slacks again and the boss fired her but she runs to the ACLU and they took her case and she won. You see the ACLU claims theyre for equal rights but theyre not. All theyre for a women and minorities. NOW a US court says the boss have high power over what to wear to work THANK YOU REPUBLICANS!!!! Liberalism is dying and you better learn to get used to it!

Maybe that work place request women to wear a dress instead of pant, if that woman knew it more then once, then she shouldn't be suing that workplace, when she already knew she was suppose to be wearing a dress, if she doesn't like it then she can find another job where she could wear pants....
I don't understand this?...why people take things soo personal and file a lawsuit, whatever This is just silly in my own opinion!

I can agree with dress codes, but don't agree with forcing a woman to wear a dress instead of nice professional slacks. The only exception I can think of is if its a uniform that is a dress and the woman is refusing to wear a uniform.
When I'm on daywork, I'm required to wear nice dress pants and a button up shirt...need to look professional. On weekends or at night, its a little more casual if I'm working in the station. Many companies require a particular dress. Requiring a woman to dress *sexy* against her will should result in a lawsuit IMO |

Of course, it depends on the kind of business, and if the employee knows right from the beginning what is expected.

Im a guy..I wear suit & tie. Mel feit was wear a dress because of a protest that men are losing their rights because the ACLU wont take mens issues cases. When a black man feels volated of yeah the ACLU would take his case or a woman feels volated the ACLU would take her case too. But when a white man feels volated the ACLU wont take his case. Thats the reason why mel feit wears a dress. And mel feit has a website.

This is why I don't agree with the ACLU. They used to be a good organization who did good things. Seems over the past few years they have developed an agenda and have turned down cases that needed to be heard. They have also taken unecessary cases.
What was his original case that caused him to dress like a woman on Mortons show. I know he said he was losing rights to women, but what was that all about? |

Yes,, Mel Feit decided to chalenge the system after he heard the ACLU won the womans case because she didnt wear a dress to work as boss told her to. So he decided to wear a dress to work to chalenge the system. He was fired by his female supervisor. So he ran to the ACLU and they rejected his case.
