Tornado slams into Virginia campground; one critical with life-threatening injuries

I agree. I am very thankful more lives were not lost. We do not need another Joplin or even worse, something similar to that 1925 Tri-State Tornado. That would have been very bad in terms of loss.
 
I cried today when I read this news. I went camping at that campgrounds recently in April and again in May. My friend tagged me with this article on FB and I just cried on top of all emotions I was having from other stuff going on. Ugh.

I had a bad feeling you might've been there earlier this year. I am sorry you are feeling this way, and hope that you will get through this.

Yesterday was a bad bad bad day for me. My daughter left for AZ and it is her last summer with us before she turns 18 so empty nest syndrome is starting to creep in, I found out that I didn't get chosen for the dream job from the person who got it, not from my supervisors, and then this news about the campgrounds.

By 10 PM last night, my eyes were sooo puffy and swollen from all the crying I did.

Today, I am fine. Just sad for the people who lost their loved ones. At least I still have my loved ones so I am thankful for that.

That's a rough day indeed. I'm glad you're okay. And do be thankful you do still have your loved ones, for sure.
