Child gets stuck in claw machine at bowling alley

I'm saying different kids do this just about every week.

It seems the machine manufacturers should come up with a better design so the kids can't crawl into them.

yea a hole is pretty big for a small child to crawl inside

Some of the toys are about as big around as the kids who crawl in. So there has to be enough room to drop the toy out.

I have a better idea the mothers should watch their children better. If the boy had enough to time to climb into the machine it was plenty of time for a someone to kidnap him.

There should be a way to design the machines so a child can't climb but a toy can be taken out . The door should only open up when the claw has a toy to drop down .

I was going to say... I just saw a video circulating on FB about a kid crawling into one of those-- in fact I could swear the pic of the kid in the article video is the same one as the video going around on FB... but it isn't the first video i've seen of "awww the kid climbed up in there" and "that's just crazy"/variations of Reba's comments about how the machines should be designed better.

Suspect a lot of those claw machines are more than 10 years old too..

That could be true about the machines being outdated but that does not mean parents brains should be outdated too. Parents can't keep blaming others for the mistakes they make with their child safety , it could have a very tragic ending like Adam Walsh .

Yes true and I agree.

IMO it goes both ways.
The parents more so need to be responsible for their children and find ways to keep the little darlings from leaving the house (or yard for that matter) than the manufacturer(s) of the machines.

Doesn't mean that the companies can't or shouldn't find better ways to improve on their machines too.
